Hi, we’re Ethan and Sarah.

An average life just never quite fit right for us. So, we turned 180 degrees and intentionally designed a way of living that suited our family. In 2020 our surroundings became uncomfortable and we followed the nudge leading us away from our farm in Minnesota. With no specific landing place planned, we went in search of new property and stopped in the middle of the Missouri Ozarks when we found the place we’d been called to. 

Our desire was to find somewhere that could become a new family legacy, a place where our children and grandchildren would enjoy the fruits of our labor. We started with fully wooded raw land and slowly we’ve transformed this property into the foundation for our future. 

We have a big vision for this place. With strong effort, a lot of prayer, and appreciated help from our five children (and friends and neighbors), we make a little progress everyday. It certainly sounds cliche, but it is very true: Living off grid isn’t a destination, it is a journey.
